Inspection Interval Guide
Determine the maximum time between two successive inspections of an electrical installation using the method in Annex I of NEN 3140, the Dutch supplement to EN 50110-1. For each of the five factors, choose the option that fits best. The interval is read directly from Figure I.1.
Figure I.1 — time between two inspections
The curve follows Figure I.1 of NEN 3140+A3:2019: 15 years at 0 points, 1 year at 65 points (the highest possible score).

Points to note
This guide follows Annex I (normative) of NEN 3140+A3:2019. The interval is read from Figure I.1 and rounded down to a tenth of a year and to whole months. The result is a maximum interval: the person responsible for the installation sets the final interval and records it in the inspection plan. Consult the standard for the full text.
